This is a lifeboat binnacle whose compass was made by Lilley and Reynolds, London, probably in the 30′s or 40′s. The two lanterns on the sides have been removed. At one time it was electrified but now only has holes in the bottom of the lantern holders.� It is 11″ high, 13.5″ wide and 9″deep and weighes 7 lb 2oz.
