This is a leather shot pouch with the dead game motif, also called hanging game. It has a brass lever charger which is marked Am. Flask and Cap Co. which stands for The American Flask and Cap Co. of 52 Beekman Street, New York City. Their manufactory was in Waterbury Conn. They began business sometime in the 1850′s and worked at least until the late 1870′s. This pouch is in good condition with rubbing on the raised areas of the design, all the stitiching is complete, with a small break at the screw at top holding the leather to the top.It measures 9 1/2″ by 3 1/2″ by 1 3/4″ and weighs 3.5 ozs.
