This black powder flask in the shell design, a very popular design. It was made by Hawksley of Sheffield, England which began making flasks about 1840 and through 1889. It has the common top that screws off and four carry rings. It is in very good condition with a dark flat patina. It measures 8 1/4″ by 4″ by 1 1/2″ and weighs 8.4 ozs.
