This black powder flask has a simple ridge design and the patent top with interior spring. It has beautiful copper red patina and four carry rings with deer skin carry cord. It is made by The American Flask and Cap Co. of 52 Beekman Street, New York City. Their manufactory was in Waterbury Conn. They began business sometime in the 1850′s and worked at least until the late 1870′s. The flask measures 8 1/2″ by 4″ by 1 1/4″ and weighs 8.6 ozs. For more pictures and any questions call or email.
