This black powder flask has the dead game or hanging game motif. It has two carrying rings and an interior spring on the patent top. Condition wise is has great patina but the spring is broken. It is made by The American Flask and Cap Co. of 52 Beekman Street, New York City. Their manufactory was in Waterbury Conn. They began business sometime in the 1850′s and worked at least until the late 1870′s. The flask measures 9″ by 4″ by 2″ and weighs 7.1 ozs. For more pictures and any questions call or email.
